Tooting Tram and Social was the venue and a new one for us. It’s set back from Tooting high street in South West London down an almost side alley, blink and you might miss it (I know I did, drove round for a half hour during rush hour and that was just one lap of the block).
Nevertheless don’t be fooled by the unassuming location and facade, once you enter the space you’re greeted with a broad and deep room with an almost majestic high ceiling. It feels like the room is welcoming you with open arms. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming and the layout allows you to drink and socialise in whatever manner you choose. It’s a nice touch to have the stage as the first thing you see at the opposite end of the room when you enter the building, helped by the long bar that runs along the righthand side, leading like an arrow to the stage.
A nice space to play in and we’ll hopefully be back to make some more noise.
